Il bilanciatore armonico è un componente di trasmissione accessorio front-end collegato all'albero motore di un motore.La costruzione comune è costituita da un mozzo interno e da un anello esterno in gomma.
Lo scopo è ridurre le vibrazioni del motore e funge da puleggia per le cinghie di trasmissione.
Il bilanciatore armonico è anche chiamato smorzatore armonico, puleggia di vibrazione, puleggia dell'albero motore, smorzatore dell'albero motore e bilanciatore dell'albero motore, tra gli altri.
